I'm about to do something similar to your truck's cage/add-ons Manny. I'm more worried about what I roll over onto/what might come through the roof like a stump or a rock.

 

Didn't think about that type of stuff too much until I saw the pictures of the new Jeep impaled on the tree. That was one lucky driver.

 

I broke a right-rear halfshaft in Dec climbing a crazy hill off the cleghorn trail (too much gas + detroit). Coming down was scary -- no traction, just sliding down with three wheels locked (missing one of the rear brakes was pulling me toward a steep drop-off). I thought I was going over the side, almost did! Thought about by boy who sometimes rides with me. I need some crossbars for additional protection as well as a place for my radios/some map lights.
