I am a new member to this forum, own a 2006 H3 and am based in Guernsey, British Channel Islands.

I'm having issues with some water damaged electrics in the vehicle that require (at least) replacement of the BCM and immobiliser. If the problem(s) had been simple, I would have sorted it, but they are beyond my capabilities, or anyone else in the Channel Islands.

Since the pull out of GM in the UK and a number of businesses like Bauer-Millet, Stratstone PDI, and London Cadillac either closing down or no longer in the Hummer business, I find myself in a rather desperate situation.

Replacement of BCM requires the proprietary GM software for integration into the system and I need to find a business that has access to the necessary software/hardware, and hopefully, some experienced mechanics to go along with it.

Failing any UK vendors, I'll have to ship it further afield, i.e. Germany, etc.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

How do you find the H3 on our roads? I am going to look at buying one tomorrow!! Easy to get hold of servicing parts?
