happy new year to all... was wonderig if anyone has had any success mounting a snowplow to the H3? If so what brand, it would be for private use, couple small parking lots nothing major... I cant imagine that they dont make them.. Can they be retrofitted? brand, siz, style? thanks in advance ..

 

Someone used to make a plow for a CJ, so I'm sure there is something out there that can be modified to fit the H3. Unless someone provides better information, my advise would be to contact a plow company and see if they have anything in the works, or something that can be modified. If you are close by to the manufacturer, or near an authorised dealer of a plow, they may be interested in using your vehicle as a test mule to create a kit. A friend of mine owns a Toyota FJ and she is doing exactly that with Warn to build a bumper to fit a removeable winch.

I wonder if the front diff would hold up to snow plow abuse? So many have exploded just from normal off-road use that it makes you wonder.
