I would not change anything, unless you really have to!
I have heard many times of problems with the electrical system after H3s were converted to the european standards. I am living in Germany, my H3 had to be converted to be street legal. But I reversed the conversion to avoid issues (and to look different from all the converted Hummers ;-) )
