Absolutely!! All we can do is not set foot in their doors, buy our pops & snacks elsewhere, & always use that VISA card to purchase theirfuel so they dont get off with that 4% upcharge as well!!

I've checked my last two tanks and get right at 16. My H2 gets 12.5, so somethings wrong to get only 11. I drive aggressively also - 75 & 80 on the highway here in Texas.

I actually feel bad for the many of the local gas station owners (not necessarily the off-brand, cheap gas places). As Wrongway alluded to, they make their money off of what you buy in the store, not at the pump. They are not getting rich off of the recent spike in gas prices since they only make a few cents per gallon. And, if you use your Visa, they pay a percentage in fees, let's say 3%. 3% of $3.50 is about 10.5 cents per gallon - and that's actually greater than the profit margin they have on each gallon of gas. So they lose money when you purchase only gas.

ExxonMobil - that recent $10.5 BILLION profit was disappointing according to the news articles. The big guys and the Middle East - that is who is getting are money, not the little guy. So if you like your corner gas station guy, go in and buy a bag of chips and a Coke every now and then and help them survive.

I'm getting between 14.5 and 18. I put Mobil 1 in it and it seemedto get better afterwards. I've heard getiing the restrictive exhaust off of it and doing a free flowing system we' ll possibly get up to 20!! Any thoughts on that? I've been looking at the Gibson system.
