Have your Dealer change the engine thermostat to a cooler one

 

I had the same problem around 6,000 miles. Dealer changed the thermostat. All good since then.

 

Is the thermostat defective or did they put the wrong one in?

 

i try the car without the termostat always get 3/4 somebody tell me i need the low temp termostat

how cold you car run?

 

I just ran mine in -14F air temp. it took about 10 minutesto warm up but the temperature gauge went to1/2 and stayed.
I've alsolet it idle in 115F air temp.for 1.5 hours and itsat a little over1/2. When the engine was shut off but power still on, the temperature guagecreeped up to a little over3/4.
