Hello guys,

Well this is an unusual post. I am looking for a Hummer H2 approval certificate that states the car can be registered with a GVWR below 7700 lbs. (3500kg). I know those were meant for europe where you need a heavy duty (truck) drivers license when the cars GVWR is above 7700lbs. I've tried contacting anything thats related to GM here in Europe (Opel) but they said they won't be able to get this paper for me. If anyone here would have a copy or any knowledge of this I would be really grateful.

Why not use a truck weight scale station . They give you a certified weight document

 

The problem is not the current weight but the max weight of the vehicle. If it's above 3.5t then it's the heavy duty drivers license. H2 by default has 3.9t but the numbers were lowered in europe when it hit the market here (no more Hummer dealerships around tho). My H2 was imported from the US so it has 3.9 if I would get a paper saying it can be registered as a <3.5t vehicle I could do all the necessary paperwork.
