how da hell did I get called a dik in this thread?!?!?! Man...I got to re-read all the threads now to see where else I was called out

As far as technical advise goes......there is NO ONE over there that impresses me. I will put my wrenching experiance against any of them.....the main difference between here and there is quite simple......We have equal technical knowledge but they feel the need to make you know that they have it.....makessome people feel good thumping their chest on an internet forum. I cannot remember one technical question not getting answered here....don't know what more we can do. They do have more offoraders that feel ugly means off road dominant [:'(][:'(]Sorry butI'm not putting$50 steel wheels on a $40,000 hummer.....I can afford to replace my chrome wheelswhen they get f'ed up.
as my experience offroading my H2 grows, my opinion of the technical knowledge on that other site is getting lower as well. So much of the comments there stem essentially from one guy and the rest of "the clique", and some of the observations just don't add up when stacked next to my real world experience with the truck. Also, the comments and suggestions about 'wheeling the H2 found on other sites seems unusually focused on rock crawling, with little about the many, many other types of (often much more fun) wheeling to be had.

I wish i had more mechanical knowledge, and more knowledge of the appropriate terminology, so that i could put together a nice offroading FAQ about the H2. It would have been nice- when i started playing with the thing in the dirt - to find a nice "guide" to offroading the H2, something explaining the pros and cons of the truck, how to get the most out of it in different situations, and how to avoid abusing it and all of that. I think i've collected enough experience to do that, but hell if i know what all the proper terms are to make it sound all perfeshunal and what not.

The way I found out about that other site was by running into on of thier mods at the dealership. The guy owns a H2, and had just come back from running the entire Rubicon. We talked about 4 wheeling, then swapped forum adresses. I went over there, signed in and browsed for a bit. The guy sent me a pm thanking mefor signing up, then I never heard back from him. That was also the last nice thing anyone said to me over there. The arogance of the place and the off topic comments got to me. If I posted a question or a comment, it was passed over and ignored like I never posted a thing. How does that type of customer service get you to be number one? Maybe the same wayI get told I'm number 1 all day long when driving. I just smile and think to myself, "Next time wave all of your fingers."
This is my second most visited website. The first is my personal email. Nary a day goes by that I dont check both at least once. In my book, this site, and all of it's memebers will be #1 in my book.

I first found the Elcova site before this one.

I found it was run by Jason and his sister in total dictatorship. Absolutely no sense of humor. We're I 40 years younger they could easily provoke my dark side. Had I run into him at a dealership I'm afraid I'd simply have to talk to him by hand.

This site is made up of people who agree, disagree or just agree to disagree. There is no pompous *** attempting to dictate to others. Its the same comraderie shared at any outlawbiker event I've ever intended.

I'm proud to be a member!

Not everyone on that site are jerks and not everyone on this site are cool, but if you want to express your opinion on their site prepare foir a backlash, especially if you (heaven forbid) like chrome. I joined both forums on the same day I find that this is a place to make friends, and their's is place to measure d**ks.

tried to measure mine, but didn't have my reading glasses with me . . . . . . .[:'(]
