Hummer Forums #2?
and to think, I let this Hummer-guy be a member here[sm=sorry.gif]
I guess you have to be rude, crude andsocialiably unacceptable to be rated at #1 by our (cough) friend here...Oh I know!..Let's start a club..We'll call ourselfs "The Black Sheep squadron", then we'll flame everyone that doesn't 100% agree with or get along with the madam of the forum...Ooops!, my bad, the #1 forum has already did that name....
Let's see..Hmmmm.....Maybe, "The Dukes of Hazard" or The DumbSh!ts....

well, in his defense, there is a lot of good technical info on the other site.finding it is relatively easy too.and, if you feel like having your e-ego stepped on, it's a nice place to hang out.
In all fairness, the EIcova site does have more topics, and especially more info for H2 owners. And thereIS some good info there as well. But currently, the H3 section (only place I've been) does seem a bit rough, and the current moderators and long time members thereseem more interested in grandstanding and bashing membersthen promoting Hummer related discussions. As Hummer Guy said, given a little more time, Hummerforums will be the one to watch. For all of us onHummerforums right now, we already know this. We have an excellent site with an easy, effecient layout, super administrators, great moderators, and colorful and interesting members. Newbies are always welcomed, and the overall mood is warm and friendly. There is no other choice in my book, and given more time and exposure, I'm sure Hummer Guy (and everyone else) will agree "WE are number one".
well, being number 1 really isn't all that important . . . . unless it's for the very first ever Hummerforums.com ride of the month competition, then number 1 is vital and all that follow are simply number 1 losers . . . . . .
Thanks LHB, I think you hit the nail on the head. I definately prefer to frequent this board -- I'm not in any of the cliques of the Elcova board, nor do I have any desire to. Just the pure depth of content is still very high on that site. And, it appears that posting has slowed quite a bit there -- probably because of the reasons detailed by Dennis (hey now, I thought I was getting AWAY frombeing chastisedfor having a difference in opinion!
) And posting seems to be up here - again, probably because people aren'tattacked for asking new questions and being a newb -- that'show you build a community - keep up the great work!
