Default How is this price for an H3

My fiance wants an H3 I am not sure how much they are knocking off the sticker. Can you pleae tell me what people are paying for H3's???????? She emailed a local dealer and here is what they said they can sell her one for.

"FROM DEALER
I ran some numbers for you and here is what we came up with. I located you a H3X in red with the black leather interior. It has a tow package, sunroof, and XM radio. I could not find any without XM radio, but it is only a $325 option. The price of that vehicle is $41,495. We would sell you the vehicle for $38,495 plus tax and tags and that includes a $2000 rebate. With your $10,000 down, you would have a payment of $629 for 60 months or $559 for 72 months. I also looked into a luxury with the same options and it would be $2000 less. "

Is this a good deal????????? What would bea good price for this unit

Sounds real high to me......I got a '06 Lux Pkg, Chrome Pkg, Sunroof for $35,300 total out the door. I put 18,000 down and pay 288/mth for 72 mos at 5.5%.

Check with another dealership, you might do better.
If their financing, you might want to check another source for a better rate.
Good luck...

I picked up my 07, Midnight Blue H3 w/Adventure package, Automatic Transmission, Towing package, Trailer hitch w/wiring, sunroof, roof rail airbags, Xm radio w/6 cd, Monsoon Stereo system, black tubular side steps, roof marker lights, Chrome wheels, Chrome accent pkg, Front/Rear carpet mats, Carpet Storage area mat/reversable & dealer installed backseat DVD system for $34,500 the other day. I was happy with the price. Only thing I'm going to do is black chrome all the chrome on the vehicle, change out the roof marker lights/side lights to smoke, put on a blackchrome roof rail system. I may eventually change out the indash system for a Pioneer Avic-Z2 as well.

Only reason I didn't go leather was I dislke leather seats! My vette had them and I didn't care for them at all. So much easier to Scotch guard the cloth seats, but anyhow its a personal preference.

Also look and get yourself a GM Supplier discount certificate. I used it + GM sent me a $500 personal rebate.

So, Supplier price = about 1k under invoice (if I remember correctly) then $2500 in rebates on the 07. = what I considered a good price.
