I was just wondering what kind on deal you got from Onstar. my free 3 months will be over soon and I kind of like the system but not for the price they want.

 

This has been the subject of a number of threads. You may have to talk to the cancellation rep at Onstar, or you may get the deal from the first rep you talk to but I have been consistently able to get a rate of about $144-$150 for 14 months for the basic service. Sometimes they will throw in 100 free minutes on the phone, but only sometimes - at any rate can't hurt to ask. You may have to be a bit insistent, but my last renewal was really easy - just punched the button and asked to be renewed at my current rate.

I haven't really tried to get a deal on the Directions service because I don't usually need it. I did find out that you can subscribe to the Directions service for a single month if you need it just for a short while.
