Just turned 14 000 km on my 2008 H2. I've had the battery replaced under warrantee, I purchased it in April of 09, and I think the dealership let the battery die and thus freeze in the winter of 08/09. Other than that, I have had no problems, I love it!

Tree huggers getting on here full of it. If you modd a truck its probably what you did to it that made it junk. Just because you changed the oil when it's time doesn't make it last forever there's other things that need to be done.

I've put 35,000 on my 04 bringing the total mileage to 112,000. Since i've had it it i've replaced the instrument cluster, both air suspension bags (had a lot of problems with this but now working great on the original compressor still), both front hubs (no surprise since i'm running 35" tires on it). One of the mirrors didn't fold and the other folded slowly. I was able to fix the one that didn't fold and improved the one that folded slowly by taking them apart and cleaning out the rust. Need to work some more on the slow one. Wipers started coming on by themselves and running the fluid constantly. Fixed that by taking out the control module cleaning it up with a brass brush and coating it with dielectric grease. For a while i seemed to be losing a bit a coolant so i put some Bar's leak in it and that seems to have helped for now. I'm sure i'll eventually have to do the water pump, but so far so good. Some of the chrome is starting to delaminate due to corrosion. Apparently my car lived somewhere really salty before i got it.

Nothing too out of the ordinary so i'm quite happy with it. I plan to keep it it to 200,000, at which point i guess i'll try to look for another low mile H2. Damn you gm for your union bailout and not continuing the Hummers!

I have 98,000 on my 04 and bought it with 84,000 and since then the sunroof doesn't work automatically, my heated seat turn on every time it rains and I just found out today I need two front hub assemblies, thank god I can do the work myself the dealer wanted to charge me 984.00 to do both front hubs. But I have to say when I'm sitting at a red light and that Prius pulls up next to me I can't help but chuckle. I love my truck

'03 H-2 with 117,000 miles...Hey...it's a machine and sometimes machines break.......I've replaced the following....Instrument cluster, water pump, fuel pump, intake manifold gasket ( lower ) and battery. Just had tie rod ends and pitman arm and steering damper replaced. Next is air suspension....intermittent leak and compressor runs constantly....

2005 h2
106000 miles
@
85000 = tensioner + all belts
@
90000 miles = tie rods
@
95000 miles = idler and pitman arms
@
97000 miles = tie rods again (off road use)
@
100000 miles = water pump

Cluster (speedo) went out at 70000 miles but hey there's no way I'm paying that much dough to get it fixed.

I'm expecting a big ticket item soon. No extended warranty in place
