How many miles you got?

Just sold my 03 with 120K no problems.
As for longevity on the GM powertrain, I also own a small fleet of 2500 cargo vans. Same basic engine, trans as the H2, 6.0L 4L65 trans etc... NO 4WD but same basic parts otherwise. I have 4 that are 2003-2007 models all with 200 - 325K. 1 had the trans rebuilt at ~ 150K, another had the trans go at 250K otherwise they all still run fine.

Thanks for your reply! I am trying to get a feel for how long these motors will last RELIABLY until it needs to be rebuilt. My father has always said 100,000 miles ya better get rid of it because its wore out and I dont exactly agree with him saying that.

Think about it like this:
50 years ago cars had a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty
20 years ago it was 3 year 36,000
today 6 year 100,000
About every (NON GERMAN, BRITISH) car on the road is solid to 150K-200K with minimal maintenance but ALL GM, Ford, Dodge, Toyota and Nissan trucks are good to a minimum of 200K.
DO NOT EVEN QUESTION THE DURABILITY OF YOUR H2 UNLESS YOU TOTALLY ABUSE IT....

Here is a list of some of the older vehicles I own, Most are fleet cars that my sales team drive. These are just the higher milage vehicles, I dont dump them until they really break.
2005 Impala - 24X,000 engine and trans are untouched, rear struts/shocks went out, radiator went bad, other than that basic maintenance.
2007 impala - 160,000 - 1 starter thats it. Never been to a dealership
2004 Explorer - 285,000 rear end went out at 80K other wise no problems
2000 Chevy Lumina - 245,000 alternator went out at 125K, water pump at ~ 180K. Trans is starting to slip so it is being donated to charity next week. New malibu coming as replacement.
One of my vans i think a 2002 3500 model, had 220K ish and got caught in a flood (KATRINA TIME), sucked in some water and killed the engine. I had a shop refresh the trans and do a basic rebuild on the 6.0 engine. (about a $4500 bill) It now has ~ 380,000. Its had some work but besides the engine/trans job nothing serious.
FYI - I drive the 2007 Impala myself, I have friends that joke about the fact that I own 2 sizable companies, have a nice hummer at home but drive a "****BOX CHEVY" (THEIR WORDS) with 160K on it everyday with no plans of replacing it before I get another 50K out of it minimum. Guess who picks them up from the BMW shop or Mercedez shop when their glorious german sedans break........

131,000 and no knocks or taps.. Full synthetic oil change every 3000mi. Original owner, and I will drive it into the ground or into the OPEC corporate office if they dont get their heads out their *** with their oil prices. $110 to fill my tank every 2 days is getting ridiculous.

I was thinking about buying another H2 that has over 100,000 miles on it to tow my 4 wheelers to the WV mountains. Its three hours away and out in the middle of nowwhere. Now heres the magic question.....what do you do if the truck breaks down while on the road?
