How do I install a Hella Light switch?
I just recently bought a pair of Hella lights to mount to my roof rack. I have all wires and everything hooked up but i'm having problems figuring out how to mount the switch for the lights. I think the best way to do this is to place the switch in the already stock made holes that are on the lower part of the dash (the two dark colored circles that are between the rear wiper control and the aux plug ups). If anyone knows how to get to these holes or how to remove the lower part of the dash please let me know! Thanks!!!
Pull the covers out of the two cig lights, put a finger in each one, and pull outwards. The bottom of the dash should pop right out, and then you can work your way around the sides.
One of the easiest dash's I've ever had to remove.

and I have also used the holes you're talking about for light switches, I dont know about Hella switches but either way you can drill the hole bigger if need be.
Here are a few pics

I believe the ones in the dials are the same as in the 4x4 controls which are soldered micro led's.
If you have a steady hand and some free time you can de-solder the old ones and solder in new ones or even change the color.
