Default hood handles?

What is the general consensus about hood handles around here? i ran into a guy who owns an H2 sut in my town and we were talking about out trucks and he said my truck would look nice with some hood handles. Is that trying to look too much like a poser or is it considered acceptable behavoir? This other guy had 36s on his truck and was not even sure my truck was an H3 because it was just as high as his. In my opinion the handles don't belong on the H3.

The hood on the H3 is small enough you can carry it by just holding the edges....... but If you need to carry it a long way, you may want to set it on a skateboard and push it.... but it still doesn't need handles.

Im 50/50 on the hood handles, I had them on my first H3 (the RealWheelsmetal grill/handles combo) and am thinkin about putting the same thing on my new H3, in the black powercoat finsh.
While they serve no purpose they can make the H3 look very cool,,, its just the same as any other kinda bling/just for lookstype thing you would put on any car or truck.
There are tons of things folks put on there rides for looks only,,, I dont see anything wrong with it.

But as long as the subject of hood handles is at hand,,,,, those big-***'ed loopie ring looking handles made by "Manik" (I think thats the company),, sorry but Igota say,, those things arejust a bit overboard.

Personaly, my taste,,,,,I like the lower profile type handles,,,, not the handles that you put on the existing hood panel,,,,,, the chrome handle/grill combo that Hummer Guy has posted on his thread are cool and the RealWheels ones are cool as well,,,, not a big fan of the rest of them though.

Just my opinions.

Cheers
Davyo

I personally don't like them on the H3.They serve about as much purpose as the hood vent itself. Hell, the hood doesn't even open in the right direction to call for them. BUT with that being said, the hood handles are part of the HUMMER look also.

BLUF: You bought it, your ride. Make it look the way YOU like it.

I added them to my H3. I think they add to the overall HUMMER look, and I really like them. Obvisously the vent itself serves no purpose on the H3, so why not add the handles too?
