I bought and installed a HID bi xenon lights on my H3, it was last oct. i think. and now, the lights would flicker non stop. and sometimes it will go to normal.
I'm wondering if I need to get the capacitors that they say will stop the flickering. but after how many months, it's the first time that it happened to me. im not sure if its the ballast because sometimes, it still works. but sometimes, it doesn't.

 

Its most likely the ballast and is it one light or both lights. I never needed to do anything to my hids and they have been working well for over 7 months now.

 

I can't rule out that its the ballast or the bulbs. They both flicker at the same time. and also, I can hear something at the controller/harness of the hi/lo for the hid.
because sometimes, when I heat them up, they would work flawlessly and sometimes, they would flicker for the whole time.

If they are both flickering its not the ballast its a power issue having hi/lows its possible the set needs to connect directly to battery if it already is not.Best of luck.

 

Hi, I have a question for you guys, I want to install a Bi-xenon conversion kit on my 06 hummer but when I installed a kit on my 90 corvette I lost my foglights. Is that also going to happen with my hummer?
