Why or what has caused my gas milage to go almost in half ?? When I use to fill my h2 2003 it would read normally between 4-5 hundred km and all of the sudden I'm filling and my range is saying 250 km or so has anyone experienced this ???
It seems to be running fine starting fine ... But I no it's not a computer problem thow because my gas milage has gone to the (beep beep) any ideas or help would b great thanks in advance Steve ....

 

What year and how many miles on it? Have you taken it in for a tuneup or to be checked out yet?

 

It's a 2003 with 100 thousand km I haven't taken it in yet!!! As I've just noticed this in the last few tanks of gas ?? I generally fill my tank and put my range gauge on and go by it !! It use to always read around the 450 km I could drive but the last few fills it's now reading in the 250 km range seems to b running fine starting and idling fine ?? Although I thnk I may have a manifold leak ... And as for taking it in I haven't yet there isn't a hummer dealer even close to me and the local dealer (gm) I've had no luck with I took it there when I was having a problem with the compressor and they didn't have a clue they kept calling a hummer dealer for advise I sat there all day and they charged me 500 buck for the diagnosis and did no work ?? So ya that's were I'm at .....

hey no more jeeps, I've never really used that gauge but turned it on and it kept ranging between 19 and like 50 something depending how much gas peddle I used ?? Now mine will b different being liters not miles same with km not miles an hr ..., this has happend quikly I've only gone 66 km and I've used half tank of gas 50 bucks to travel 66 km brutal ?? Could it b dirty injectors ??

 

I am having the same issue, fill up the tank and it says my range is 100 miles and should be 250ish miles. Guess no one has a follow up on this
