Hi guys,

First post here. I am a long time H2 admirer and am finally going to bite the bullet and pick one of these up. Any tips or advice for picking out a good or or at least to avoid a lemon? I definitely want one with air suspension, but I see it isn't advertised a lot online...where are the controls for it so I can look for them in the photos. I don't want to waste time calling and asking or going and seeing a truck I could have eliminated by looking at the photos.

I would think twice about air system. Most remove it

I would look for low miles and make sure it hasn't been abused on trails. Look underneath for scratches

 

I had the air suspension on my 2003 H2. Had the truck for 4 years with no issues. My 03 and 05 H2s were great trucks. No issues at all.

 

There is a button on the dash(down from the 4x4 buttons) for raising the suspension. Also in the trunk on the right sight(close to the door is a button and a nipple where you can hook up an airhose to inflate tires.
I have a 2003 and the bags leaked (they all dry rot). Took $600 to replace them So I kept the bags since I like air suspension.
Spray soapy water on and around the bags. I also had a leaking airline that they fixed.
