a/c hissing

I recently purchased an 06 h3. The a/c is making a hissing noise. Its not constant.. just make the noise every 30 seconds or so. It sounds like it is coming from the passenger side. Is this normal?

nobody? it sounds like it is cycling on and off. Coming from behind the glove box maybe.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
