Best bet is to contact as many salvage yards as you can and leave your name and # with them if they don' have an H3 right now. Keep the list and call back every 2-3 weeks until you find one.

What are the differences between the 06' frame and an 08' and up frame?

 

Haven't had to do a frame replacement in I don't even remember how many years. Complete pain in the rear though even with a hoist and proper tools. Suppose I could do one in the garage but not something I would really want to do.
Even trying to figure out how to drag the new frame around without a fork lift gives me a headache.
New frames run around 3k shipped, IF you can get one.
8k+3k=11, why not add 5 or so to it and buy one that is not a salvage?

They look very similar...lol....but yet a slight bit different. You can tell they use the same sections and cross pieces with some slight changes. But, hey that's all that's needed to make em incompatible.

I couldn't believe anyone could possibly sell and ship a frame for that amount. It seemed to me that shipping alone would have to be several hundred bucks. Looked on the website, and the $9 shipping fee you saw was an 'estimate'. Clicked on the little '?' and it said: "Shipping is estimated because the dimensions & weight of the items are not available - If shipping is more than estimated amount you will be e-mailed for approval" I think you better figure on more money.
