Hi, new here and in the process of resurrecting my 2001 H1 6.5TD. First off my tires have good tread but are old and cracked. Current size 37x12.50R17 LT Goodyear on OEM CTIS hummer h1 wheels (17inch).

Where can I buy tires for cheap?

Or if I change my wheels what size should I get for cheaper tires?

And if I change wheels, then do I have to take out the ctis system? there for I cant have/use runflats? Does this de-value my H1?

I was considering in changing wheels/tires similar to this:

me too, but i ended up with some bad actors. (won't balance). I was going to try 100dollarguy next time.

 

Not sure that tires in the size you are contemplating will be any cheaper. You can plug the CTIS system but yes it will impact value. 4WheelParts has had decent prices on H1 tires.
