Default Heated seats not working but rear's are (2005 H2)

My rear seats work fine but the front ones do not. When you hit the heated seat button all of the orange lights light up for a split second and at the same time you can hear a relay click on then off in the same amount of time. Maybe the relay is bad? I thought bad relays wouldn't turn on at all though. I know how a rekay works and I can't see how one would turn onand right back off if it was bad, it wouldn't turn on at all, or maybeI am wrong?

Is there a fuse or a circuit breaker?

Could be a breaker if it is bad.

All fuses are good. The relay that I hear click on then off is under the seat (guess there is a computer or control box under the seat). Any ideas/suggestions?

there is a lot of wiring under the seat, maybe something is loose or been kicked.

My shop owner mechanic neighbor recently had his gear heads check my seats out. They claim the sensor may be defected. The seats receive power due to the side door panel switch light turning on, but shuts off within seconds. After talking to a GM dealer, replacements run $400+ FML

You can find used seat heater switches on ebay for a hell of a lot less than that. I've bought extras to just keep around in my pile of H2 parts. It's worth a shot.

Also I know quite a few people over the years have experienced the heater elements breaking and causing a short which made the system do some weird stuff. The elements are relatively thin from what I've read and break over the years. You could try testing the elements for continuity as well.

Would a switch also contain a sensor? Or are those two separate parts? Curious to know if the switch is for power control and a separate sensor detects the heat level which triggers it off. It does make sense that it would all be within one unit
