What did you go for in the end ? Any pics / details ?

Re the cree bulbs, i already have the LED bulbs in the standard housing as it is, but they just don't seem to look quite right to me. I'd rather install a complete unit if that makes sense. I thought about the trucklites, as they would match the headlights i have quite nicely. Not looking to spend JW speaker money though!

These are the DRL lights I've used:

Amazon.com: Led Village Round 18w Flood LED Work ATV Off Road Light Lamp Fog Driving for 4x4 Offroad SUV Car Jeep Truck Trailer Tractor ATV UTV: Automotive Amazon.com: Led Village Round 18w Flood LED Work ATV Off Road Light Lamp Fog Driving for 4x4 Offroad SUV Car Jeep Truck Trailer Tractor ATV UTV: Automotive

With the use of threaded rod and lock washers you can use the threaded holes on the back and the stock mounting holes. No drilling or cutting the bumper at all. You will have to grind the mounting boss off the lights so they are a circle. Nothing a die grinder can't handle though.

S Reynold you will love the lights.

Thanks guys, Lojac i spoke with you before on these, but trying to cut the housing to make them round enough to fit wasn't working out for me. I was hoping for more of a direct fit to tell the truth.

This is why I've held off.
It seems easy, but unless you have the right tools, I can see the buckets becoming ruined.

Does anyone have pics of the buckets after they've been cut?

its not the bucket, its the drls itself. look closely at the pic in the other thread of which i shared the link.

I was actually talking about the headlights, not the DRLs. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the pic of the modified DRLs.
Looks pretty straight forward.

Here is a picture of them close up. You can also see the CREE bulbs I replaces for the DRLs.
