Default headlight switch, indicator stalk problems

so, i find there is an odd problem with the headlight switch,

when it's turned all the way to the right (clockwise) off position
if you apply little pressure for some reasons the headlights lights up while holding it there

i had it happens yesterday when i had the low beam on and wanted to turn it off it went off then for a split second on while turning it to the 2nd position

it's weird

another issue, if i have to use the high beam temporarly pulling the stalk toward me and let it go , it sometimes returns too far and stays in the permanent high-beam setting which i'll discover when i turn on my headlights

Might want to check your manual, all the way clockwise is ON, not off. Off is a quick turn counter-clockwise and released to spring back to the straight up center auto position. The 06s function just a bit different than the rest.

no !!!
sorry for the confusion
mine is 2009 from middle east ( kuwait)
clockwise is off i am 100% sure
if u apply just little pressure while it's off to the off position the lights go on not really sure which lights exactly

wait i am not really sure what car that you're talking about probably our switch is different

this is the switch i am talking about

if i got the light to the off ( far right) and apply little pressure lights start working if i release the pressure it goes off

i don't want this thing to fail on me and drain my battery

i know what are you talking about , but in my 2009 h3 it's not the same

on my car i have the option to leave it completly off every single light as opposed to auto spring loaded tension

on 2005 trailblazer it's like what are you indicating

You did not indicate which year and model you have, now we can see the light as to why that is important. (Pun intended )

ye i am really sorry about that never thought there is any changes, BTW i really appreciate your help <3

when i talked about the opposite rotation i thought it's region differences

hopes this clear things up,

so is this switch failing or it's normal operation?
it's smooth and clicks fairly easy on every mode i must say

what about the indicator stalk that sometimes pops into permanent high-beam when i use the temp high-beam is this faulty?
