I bought that damn cable appx two years ago, they were pretty hard to come by locally and I bought a Sony 6' cable because that is all they had, I don't think its gold plated, but the price was. [:@] I could have saved on ebay, but was too impatient and wanted to fire up the player right away. I'm not a gamer (does asteroids in 1979 count?), but Wii is real poular with the 12 and under crowd right now, and all their kid GameCube Games would be compatible. I thought some guy on ebay said they palyed thru HDMI, my bad. Thanks for the tips Bro. I didn't think it played a DVD, but I KNEW you would know. I will eventually get an HD DVD player, prices are dropping as we speak. Maybe an Xbox instead!
