between the headers and the new pcm. the h3 has really come to life.

what muffler did you go with? and how is the sound now with the headers?

still have the stock muffler. havnt changed that out yet. the it sounds a little different now, at first i thaught there was a leak in a gasket but there isnt. i guess the differance in sound would come from that the headers are made from a differnt thickness of metal then the stock manifold, therefore allowing you to hear more sound from them. and there is no cat in the header as compared to the stock set up. i imagine the cat drowns out some sound as well.

Yes, and I think you will notice a big difference with a different muffler too. There are a lot of good mufflers that will work together with and allow those headers to do what they are meant for and give you a nice rich sounding exhaust.

It says right on the description "not emissions legal" Glad we don't have
e-check here.

no emissions here in maine so i'm not worried about that. maine is pretty lax on alot of that stuff.

i know what it says on their website. I was just curious if it would still pass emissions missing the first cat.

thanks. i wish i got the ceramic coated ones tho. i put about 3 coats each of heat primer and paint but it still is burning off a little one tube. oh well, it's not like its a show piece or anything.
