Hi,

My name is Mat. I'm a new, proud owner of a 2006 H3. I've only had it a couple of weeks. I noticed something tonight, driving it home (I've only driven it at night one other time). While the dash lights are on, the Hazard button between the middle dash air vents are lit. The hazards are not on or flashing, just the button is lit. It took me a little by surprise, so I started to get concerned that it might some sort of warning/indicator. Anyway, my search for an answer led me to this group, and I'm glad. I hope to learn a lot from the members here.

Hello and Welcome.

The Hazard button is lit so you can easily find it at night. It is not an indicator of any malfunction on your H3. it's just a control for the Hazard lights.

IF it is not flashing, nothing is wrong. IF it is flashing, press it and it will go off.

 

Or rip the bulb out and toss it over your shoulder for good luck.
