I am surprised, I was ready for a battle, but no need now.

Lets hope repairs get done to a good standard as our interior trim was mint, with not a mark or any damage at all.

Car ended up getting fixed, we still have our H3, to my dismay both air bag warning lights have now come on and won't turn off.

I love our H3 but these issues are a big concern to me, as a car with air bag lights activated can not be registered in Australia and is deemed un-roadworthy, as a matter of fact I can't even legally sell it or trade it in, and we have yearly inspection prior to registration.

Not sure what to do now, seriously thinking about getting rid of it and buying something else

I will try and contact a GM dealer to see what can be done, but really there are hardly any left at all now, so soon I will be stuck with a vehicle with no support.

Scan for a code or codes. It my be the passenger seat sensor that will enable or disable the passenger side air bag.

X2. Get a scanner, or have it scanned. A real scanner (not a cell phone blue tooth thingy) can scan the SRS for codes and faults. It could be a bad clock spring, either front crash sensor, or the passenger seat sensor. All of that stuff is simple to pinpoint and fix. You do not need a dealer to do it.

Thanks, I will look into getting it scanned to see what can be done. I will update here with progress, I don't really want to get rid of the H3, but all these issues are doing my head in.

Can't really afford buying a new car at the moment either.

I need to get this sorted before the annual roadworthy inspection comes up or my car will be grounded and not allowed to be driven
