JAP CRAP....JAP CRAP.....JAP CRAP...how's that? Ya know, I kinda got forced into buying jap crap and the car is ok, fun to drive...but the friggen thing won't start 1 out of every 10 times....IT SUCKS!!! Ignition module and PCM issue that Mitsubishi is ...ahem...working on.I also went to take the jack out of the back the other day...there was 8 inches of eater in the spare tire wellYea....I can see why soooo many people claim them to be better than an American car.



Off topic, but needs to be said.....Why do people come here and be fake? Why not admit your a kid and be done with it? Remember I have IP addresses, pretty funny what stuff I can find...SO how is your X-box deal doing anyway?

 

Jap crap is not an ethnic term. It refers to the auto industry at it's roots. I am not going to attempt to defind myself, as it is not needed. Japenese people are some of the hardest working most intelligent people you will come across, they kicked our azz in the electronic market completely, got no problem with that or them. My problem is with the americans who sponsor their auto industry over ours cuz, say:that Honda was cute, I got $400.00 in incentives, and get 3mpg better mileage. WTF.

In DETROIT, we build cars and trucks, we have heavy industry, we build tanks, missle launchers, guns, buses, atvs, boats, motors and you name it. When some dimbletweed from who theheel cares where buys JAP CRAP cuz he "thinks" it's a better than made in the USA, they are full of ch!t. Everything on 60 minutes and consumers reports is true and accurate right? Just like building jap crap from plants they built here in america is good for the USA. Bullchit.

I am a native north american indian/german american. Give me all the indian stubborn azzed german jabs you can come up with if you are offended by Jap Crap, but too friggin bad, I'm not gonna change who I am.

Diggin your current property values, the market, wage scale, how's your retirement doin???....just keep buying that foreign trash and it will just continue to get worse, you haven't seen anything yet.

I was buying cars in the 80s, I know what they were, but many of the whiners here do not have a clue as to how the industry got to building that crap, thank Jimmy Carter, the energy and insurance companies.

I know this is way off topic by I've got to chime in here. I bought my first car in 1964, that would be 44 years ago! It was a 1955 Plymouth. I've only ever owned one foreign car and that was a 1967 VW bug that I purchased after getting out of the Army only because it cost $1600 brand new!

Back in the 70’s and 80’s Japanese cars were junk as well as Korean cars were. American cars were not the best made either. The UAW was only worried about getting as many benefits for their members as possible and now it’s killing them because they can’t afford to pay those benefits or hourly wages.

I’ve done work in the local GM engine plant as a outside contractor and the work ethic there is horrible. The workers are more worried about getting overtime then doing their job. They have exercise equipment, horseshoe courts, volleyball courts, card games, all during work hours inside the plant! That’s not how it is in the Japanese plants. They improved their products and simply kicked our butts and gave the American people a better product. Their automobiles simply last longer and that’s why people buy their cars.
Still won’t buy a foreign car or truck because even though it may be “made in the USA“ it’s still a foreign company and profits are going overseas.

The problem goes way deeper then this. The government could have closed the border and not allowed the foreign cars into the country and the UAW would have continued to make junk cars and trucks. A little competition actually made the American auto makers improve their products. This discussion could go on forever because everyone has their own point of view. This happens to be mine.

You're right, maybe I am an old man without a sense of humor because I hate those words he used and would not stand for it from anyone else let alone a 14 year old.
