Also, if i purchased the new wrangler it would only be the X with the hardtop and the power package (due to financing). 7% on jeep and 0% on hummer.

thats what my jeep has, except I have the rubicon. It's strange reaching for power window switches in a jeepFYI the jeep has a 6 speed manual, the h3 has a 5. First gear in the new JK is AWESOME...don't need to even use the gas cause it's a kreeper gear...great for crawling rocks. But the clutch in the JK is alot harder to engage than teh hummer...definately feel some leg strain after awhile.

if you only wheel a few times a year I would recommend the h3, the Jeep JK is lightyears ahead of previous models in interior design and comfort but it's still lightyears behind the hummer.

One concern I have with Offroading in an Auto is ABS.

I don't know how it works on a H3 but I had an experience where I was 2/3 of the way up a loose gravel/rocky hill climb and had to reverse back down. When I started to reverse and used the brake the wheels locked causing ABS to kick in, long story short is I went backwards down the hill way too fast. I disabled the ABS and never had that problem again. Vehicle was a Nissan Patrol Wagon 4.8 petrol.

Let a sign shop in your area make it for you.

Ever tried to get full benefit from BTM with a manual tranny? It can be done, but a real pain to do with a manual tranny. Automatic rocks off road using BTM!
