Sounds like a steal around $4,300 for an '06 H3. Owners description and fact he's already identifying a TC problem is important. Also a mechanic friend has mentioned a "clutch" problem perhaps the shift fork itself. Yes you can still drive the vehicle but the "binding issue" has to be corrected. Seek an area Hummer dealer for fast service $750 total or less depending for rebuild with aluminum fork replacing plastic.
