H3 Lift?
Im thinking about putting a either a lift on my H3 and bigger tires/wheels or just bigger tires/wheels to give it a more aggressive look. I have no idea what it should cost for to have someone put a lift on my H3 so I am also wondering what the price range should run from so I don't get effed over. Any suggestions??
Most places charge hourly/daily for install. I went to a local place and install alone for the Rancho kit was 986.00 plus the kit price, plus tires and wheels. Out the door it was right around 5,000 so I just slapped some 285's on the stock wheels and called it a day for a thousand or sobucks. As long as you get aggressive tires (I went with Toyo Open Country) The look and stance improves 10 fold without the lift. You can even go with 305's in a tire like a Michelin or BFG without a monster sidewall.
By all means though if you can afford the lift and some 37's or something like that.... go for it. Just plan on 5 or 6 thousand for it to be right.I'll do it one day but it's not the priority right now or in the budget. Good luck.

You should try a leveling kit first, it improves the look of the truck and allow's for bigger tires. I had theleveling kit installed and put 35 inch tires on my truck and the difference is amazing puls you save $$$$$$ compared to a lift.
