Default H3 Lift

Im thinking about putting a either a lift on my H3 and bigger tires/wheels or just bigger tires/wheels to give it a more aggressive look. I have no idea what it should cost for to have someone put a lift on my H3 so I am also wondering what the price range should run from so I don't get effed over. Any suggestions??

I don't have any answers for ya, sorry. I would be a little concerned if it makes it a little top heavy though.

I put a 4" Rancho lift on my H3T that allowed me to put 35" tires under it. The lift, shocks, wheels and tires (I went with 20" wheels) cost me just around $5,000. It was well worth it though. It is a beast but actualy ries smoother than it did OEM...probably due to the Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks. Not sure about the difference between the H3 and H3T suspension lifts though.

You can put 35s on an H3 and T without any lift kit.

I also note that there are many, many post on here talking about some very unhappy purchasers of the Ranco shocks. They work good at first, but in fairly short order they deteriorate to garbage. I hate to say it, but I have read the same thing on some other off road forums as well? The consensus is that the quality once associated with Rancho has gone out the window the last few years. IDK, I had a set 20 years ago on a4X4 chevy and they were great.

I appreciate your responses and help. I am going to level my H3 and put Bilstein Cognitos on her and I'm still in the decision making process of what tire/wheel to get but I cannot wait to get my hands dirty! Thanks!!
