Anyone installed a cherry bomb glasspack on the 3.7L engine. Looking for an in expensive exhaust to make the H3 sound a little better. Don't want a roar inside though

 

i installed a Moroso muffler. Same look as a glasspack, different design. they run about $55 on jegs.com. you may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, or somewhere that offers free shipping... It's not too loud inside, but gives a nice deep aftermarket growl outside. I chose to keep my resonator on. Im sure if i were to remove the resonator, it would be much louder inside and out.

 

If you plan on just running a glass pack, save your money and just remove the muffler and keep the resonator. Pretty sure Hunner did that on his old I5.

 

Solo Performance has the best sound that I've heard so far, cost is not outrageous either because you can just buy one of their mufflers. I have one of their systems on my on my car but not my H3 yet though.

Which version of the Solo did you install. I used to have a Cat back system on an Expedition and the constant drone sound inside was a little annoying. Just want something on the H3 that gives it a little beefier sound without installing a complete exhaust system.
