Hi All...

Another common issue...my driver's side mirror vibrates a good deal when I'm on the highway. Passenger side doesn't, I've seen this is a common issue for H3's.

Wondering if anyone found a good fix?

I watched some YouTube videos and JB welded the seam where you fold in the mirror. Didn't do anything. I'm a little heistant to fool around too much in case I crack the mirror or plastic around it, so thought I'd ask!

Any help would be much appreciated!

 

if/when i have it i will tie some thin plastic string around and pull it in. maybe more than once???

 

I have the same issue only mine is with the passenger side....

 

I have two H3's and both mirrors on both rigs had the same problem. I fixed all of them a few years ago by cutting squares of commercial Velcro (the soft side), peeling off the backing, forcing it between the mount and mirror and carefully trimming the excess. None of them shake now and they can still be folded back. Forgot to mention....... a pretty good size square that is large enough to grip with both hands and lift as you try to force the sticky backed piece in works best. Good luck!
