Default H3 coil packs keep going bad

I have a 2006 h3 and about a year ago I had a coil pack go bad so I ordered a pack of them online. I replaced the first one then the second one went bad about a month later. Then another month later a third one went bad so I went ahead and replaced the rest of them. One just went bad again a couple days ago. The truck does have 190,000 miles on it. Should I just keep replacing them or is there something else that would cause this? Is it possible the pack I bought was just a cheap pack, so I should go through an authorized dealer this time?

The dealer is the LAST place you want to get parts.
You can get OEM parts on Rockauto.com

Look on their site and get the AC Delco coils.

When you buy cheap foreign made electronics at a discount price, do not expect them to perform as the OEM parts were designed to do.

What Bunger said X2.

Coil packs and tatoos, good ones aren't cheap... cheap ones aren't good.

Check to see if you have a local junk yard.
You may be able to get the correct packs at a much cheaper price. For just a few hours of your time.

From researching briefly, 06 Colorado.....canyon seem to use same units.

Bad advise, my dealer will match Rock Auto and then also be there if I need them, not all dealers are bad and Rock Auto does not help you if you have a problem, my dealer does.

BS. Rock Auto has one of the best return policies in the biz. If they send a bad part, they will authorize a return, email you the shipping label, and send out your new part before they even get the bad one back.

In general, not always, dealers are where you buy a new car, and have warranty work done. No use for them after that IMHO.

If you happen to have what you think is a good one, kudos, not many of those around.
