i live in the peninsula - no problems yet, aside from some idiot trying to get my truck towed from a spot he incorrectly thought was a handicap spot (but didn't report the car next to me in an identical spot). haven't gotten any dirty looks, either. so far, just compliments. but then again, i don't live in SF, Berkely, or Santa Cruz.

Plus there's actually a decent offroad community there.Hummers are so common in the Bay Area that nobody really seems to give a sh*t anymore. I had one instance in three years and all they did was leave something on my windshield in a parking lot . I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Interesting that you seem to think everyone in the Bay area HATES H2's while the post by "Sewie" says no-one in the Bay area seems to give a sh*t.
As far as hippies egging or keying yourtruck,thats not what hippies do, for the most part hippies just smoke a ton of pot, stay very high, discuss the meaning of life with their friends and go to Phish concerts.

I just moved here from Va so I'd rather ask then have to find out the hard way.
The reason I said that though is that alot of my friends and family automatically assume it's an H2 as soon as i say the word Hummer until they actually see it.
