I have a 2004 H2 and driving on the highway, under certain wind conditions, I get a loud vibration noise comming from the passenger side dashboard area. It appears to have something to do with the air intake. Has anyone come across this?

 

yep, it is the plastic piece that is close to the windshield that some people replace with a snorkle. easy fix. take the two screws off of the side vent that is located near the passenger side hood strap. Now put your hand in the hole and push the top plastic piece off. It just pops out. clean around area real good, make sure the clips are in good shape and working. Then just give it a good smack when you put it back on to insure that the clips are catching well. Mine did this at about 65 to 70 MPH. This fix job took about 4 min. to complete.
