I just acquired a 2007 H2 Lux and the DVD players in the headrest are damaged.
One has a "spider web" crack and the other has scrapes all over it. I found a pair of leather headrests without DVD's from another H2.
My question is if I unplug and replace these headrests with NON-DVD headrest, will the car stereo malfunction? Meaning do all components need to be connected for it to work?
I am guessing NO but before I buy something I cannot use, I figured I ask here.

 

I cant see how it would affect anything else.

 

One of mine works and one doesn't.
The broken one is disconnected and no issues so far.

$50 leather headrests vs $1100 leather headrests with dvd (which would be used maybe once to show it off)

 

Why not to get aftermarket with dvd . Mine cost around 300 and looks as good as oem

Those look Nice & not a Bad Price! I have the Flip down but haven't ever used it, i need to find the Head-sets that come with it though because i think they're programmed just for that set! Miami, do you know much about those! Thanks!
