I went there today... Body is back on the frame for fitment. They found out that a couple of the parts that have to be welded in for the Radiator support were missing so that held them up a couple days. Then they are gonna square the body... and then remove it for paint.

New EDD is Jan 18th.

I also took a couple pictures of it playing for the mechanics. They wanted to know why there was 2" of mud on the gas tank and I only felt is was fair to give them some pics. They went over well. I think they liked seeing a truck do what it was intended to do.

You could have stopped by I spent all day washing and waxing my H3. Plus I installed my stainless steel taillight guards on it. Yes I did it all by myself before you give me any smart remarks...it only took me 2 hours...lol....just kidding it was more like 35 mins. Glad to see it's getting closer to you getting your deuce back.
As for them seeing pics of what your truck was intended to do, what did you show them pictures of you stuck in a mud puddle.....

I don't know how I missed this thread. I guess with the re-fi going on at the time this happened I wasn't really around.

I'm sorry to hear this happened. Hopefully her insurance is paying for it and not yours. The important thing is that you were able to walk away from it. I hope your truck feels normal once you get it back. Be ready to go after the insurance company for a full replacement if it never feels right.

Then my wife wonders why these kind of stupid moronic drivers **** me off so much. The same thing happened to her when I met her, EXACT same thing. She had health problems for months because of the impact on her lungs.

This is all I needed to see to reaffirm why I'm sticking with Hummer and not getting a normal car. It's not yourself you have to worry about, it's the other morons on the road.
