So you buy them just to resell and make money? I buy them to stow away for the future. Eventually H2 specific parts such as the lenses will one day become completely unavailable. $100-$120 is what I would routinely pay for a complete set, no broken tabs, scratches, etc.

Show me where you can get them that cheap? I would buy a couple of sets. Someone just bought complete set with no harnesses on eBay for 199.00. Yes I know eventually it will be almost impossible to find certain items but I have no use for 4-8 extra rooof rails. I have a full set of after market while lenses which look awesome. I'm going to save those for future install. When I get a deal on Craigslist I resell the items. I purchased 4 roof rails in past few months for 270 and sold all 4 for about 700. Not bad side money. I check eBay for what others are asking and I ask for about 10% less. Btw I own 2 H2's so I'm familiar with what people want and need. items going to people who need the stuff. I bought a spare tire swing arm for one of my trucks for $407 getting it Friday. So I also buy for myself.

$407 for a spare tire carrier is a killer deal! I just saw one posted for $900 which wasn't even complete. I cannot believe you sold the roof rails for that much, good hell I need to throw mine up for sale since they just sit in my garage taking up space. What is crazy, people used to just give those away since no one was willing to pay for them. Did you ship them or were they local pickup?

One was just over the bridge to nj so I drove it to buyer. Others were shipped all over he country. Key is to pack them real tight with bubble wrap and use as little cardboard as possible to keep the shipping prices down. I get 60% off of FedEx using my company account so I can charge much less in shipping charges than others. But I did get burnt on a brush grill guard, only charged like 50 to ship and it costed me 120. I miscalculated big time. These roof rails are not selling that fast anymore for some reason. I have one still on eBay for weeks now. Got some offers but not worth it for me since I paid 75 for it and people offering 100. I sold about 5-6 front grills but would like to save an extra for future use just in case of an accident. When would I ever need another roof rail? I have 2 on each of my trucks so I sell any I can find. Front grills I think will always be needed due to accidents. The last one I sold was to a collision place.

That's pretty wild. I had a front air splitter from my 06 GTO I shipped across the country that I was burned on as well. Grossly underestimated the shipping costs and had to eat about $150. Sucks when that happens but larger items are a pain to ship.

Yeah that sucks. You're going to lose some but I guess that's comes with the territory. Regarding the swing arm, I won the auction for $407, it looks to be in good shape but I will see when I get it. Either way I'm going to paint it so it looks brand new. My other truck has one and found a few rust spots underneath it and I'm having it sand blasted tomorrow and they may need to fill in with more steel because they think the rust circles means it goes deep into the arm.

The swing arm you saw for $899, I spoke to the guy and he said I could have it for $750. Too rich for me. If I could get that one for a good price I would resell the $407 one I bought.

I am blown away at the price gouging on the swingarms, especially if you include the latch!! My latch has one tiny spot of rust there the lever hits the bottom portion when you slam it closed. I should sand it and hit it with some rattle can to prevent any further rust but my rig has been neglected with the heat we're experiencing. I do plan on sweating my **** off tomorrow installing an oil filter relocation kit. I also need to install some LED bars to replace my old halogens. It's only supposed to be a chilly 115 tomorrow....ugh

Wow where do you live? Vegas? I just took my swing arm off and a friend of mine who owns a collision shop is going to sand blast 4 circle rust spots on the underneath of the arm then painting it black. The one I bought for $407 didn't come with the latch pin. Believe it or not someone was selling two brand new on eBay and I offered 40 and they took it cause they didn't see any other pins on eBay to see what they are going for. I got lucky.

Have fun working on your truck. Always feels good when you make it better.

Arizona in "the valley" next to the white tank mountains. Of course my pile of crap AC in the garage stopped working so I was trying to blow cool air from the house into the garage with a fan-didn't work out so well. About half way done, good luck with your sales!
