h2 learning experience
I am fair with mechanics. More used to 1960's American than this h2. I replaced the cv joints and a right wheel bearing assembly but should have done the seals while it was apart. After pulling the cv joint what is holding the axil in where the seal is leaking? Does the seal just pull out with a screw driver?/

Are you saying you can't completely remove the cv axle? Or the diff seal?
I'm 95% sure the only way to change the diff seal is by dropping the diff and opening it.
The people at the dealership had to rebuild mine after it had leaked apparently dry, and it took them !*2*! More attempts after that to get a seal that didnt leak.
So inspect the new part very carefully, pulling an axle out 3 times sucked, well for them, this time....
