Default H2 Heat only works when set at 90 degrees!

Hi All!

My 2003 H2 will only blow heat when set at 90 Deg., not 75 or 80 or even 85, 90 degrees! I recently moved from OH to WA and never experienced this issue in OH where we have very cold winters. The dealer in WA say that this is normal? I have searched the forums without any luck, Please help.

Could be your blend doors. which are a major pain in the *** and will cost like $1000 to replace or if you try to do it yourself its like a 10 hour job or more.

It may be the same problem I have, it's the blower control module easy to replace cost around $100 bucks

I had similar problem where it would only blow when the fan was on the highest setting. Replaced the blower control module and it was fixed

Is the Blower Control Module easy to access? Where abouts is it in the engine compartment? Thanks.

Just want to confirm the P/N from ACDelco is # 15-80655 or GM 93803637.

Ben

Its not in the engine bay, its under the glovebox. Its plugged into the blower motor.

Hi TC,
The fan will run at all settings. It blows cold air on settings from 60-89, when you put it on 90 then heat comes out. Still think its the blower module? Thanks

GuguH2,

What was the part number, cost and location of the blower module? How long did it take you? Thanks!
