Here's a strange one. I got in my 2005 H2 to get some gas last week. I drove about 1 mile to the gas station, turned it off but had to turn it back on because the pump wasn't working. I turned the key and nothing happened. Lights on the dash were fine so the battery was good. I have an aftermarket security system (Avital) with a remote start. I hit the remote a few times thinking the cutoff switch was on but still nothing. So finally I figured what the heck maybe the remote start would work. Low and behold it fired right up. Got the gas drove home and cut it off and tried to duplicate the problem and it fired up every time. And I haven't had any problems starting with the key all week. Anyone have ideas???

 

My guess is that you just inadvertently tripped your security feature when you were either getting out or getting in your H2.
