Can anyone tell me where the brake controller harness plugs in under the dash? Is there a harness to plug directly in to, or are they just bare wires? I can't seem to find anything, so any information will be appreciated.

On my 03' it is in the fuse panel which is on the floor/firewall behind the e-brake. I'm sure all years are the same.

 

GM makes a stock harness that will plug into the distribution panel and connect to your controller as well, i think mine was like $25, or close to that. i'd sell you mine, but i cut it up after it pissed me off when i was installing it. when they installed the backup camera, they used the jack where the controller plugs in, so of course that was the new cable's fault, and my machete happened to be laying on the work bench. if you get the harness, they can also show you exactly where it goes, although the shape makes it impossible to plug it into any other jack. good luck.

Yeah, I found it in that box on the left hand side of the brake pedal. I never thought to take the cover off of the box. I already had the harness all wired up and ready to go, I just couldn't find any place to plug it in to.
