Hi All. I'm looking into converting a hummer h1 into a work truck. I was looking for some feedback from h1 owners. I work in oilfield construction and I'm constantly on rough roads. I want to do a cummins conversion. Any feedback would be great. What are the Pro's or Con's of the h1. How would it compare to a 1 ton pick-up.

An H1 is a heavy duty truck. Parts are easier to get for late model heavy duty trucks as are mechanics. For long term ease of use and reliability I would go with a newer pickup truck.
