Default H1 rims on a H2?

Quick question for the forum. Will 4 regular military hummer rims and run flats, 8 lug Chevy bolt pattern, 16.5x9 fit on a H2?

Thanks!

yes and no, we've had huge discussions on this on multiple forums. They will fit however you'd need hub centric wheel spacers to push the wheels outward.

Also if you're talking about the wheels from wartires or similar they are 2 piece O-ring rims which have their own issues. Also some people have said a lot of tire shops won't touch them as they are 2 piece and they are a bear to get balanced.

I was ready to pull the trigger on a set but I decided against it. While a full set is insanely cheap up front look up the cost of replacement rubber for those rims in 16.5". You'll pay more in rubber down the road than 40" tires on 17" rims.

That is why I didn't, up front cost is very low but down the road to replace the tires if and when the surplus wears thin is way too much money. In contrast buying aftermarket wheels is a high up front cost the price of the rubber down the road is much cheaper.

Appreciate the insight. I would love to have the run flats but doing some reading on the forum and the issues with the extra weight and tire size would drop the MPG. The H2 is my daily driver. The the drop in MPG and extra costs of rubber in the future mades it a simple choice. Thanks again!

No prob, mine has always been my DD also. I would LOVE to have a set of those wheels though as they look completely awesome. I just can't stomach the price of replacing those tires down the road.
