By towed in vertically, I assume you mean the tire appears to lean to one side if you look at the vehicle from directly behind the tire? the only adjustment for this is the shims located behind the upper A-arms - if you remove the A-arm, you will see 8 bolts holding in the two brackets for the arm to the frame - remove those and you will see the shims between the frame and the brackets. These do not really wear out over time, however, so if you just encountered this problem my bet is that you need new ball joints in the rear - when the tire is off the ground, jerk the top of the tire back and forth by hand - if you feel any play, your ball joints are shot.

Default thanks fsr7

I will try this . just spent 6 hrs yesterday changing the tires and runflats out. Sore as heck today.. Had nitto mud grapplers a year and a half old and all cracked and the back left wore out at an angle fron the toe in. Going to fix next weekend . as far as ball joints I did check this when i had it on jacks .still tight.. only 35000 miles with little offroading..thanks again

Would he need shims? He has a newer truck with the cam system.

I'd hunt down a alignment shop or dealer that has the Hunter GPS HD alignment rack.

I had my H1 dialed into spec and it took a few hours, but they found a few non-obvious things. My rear end alignment was slightly off requiring a shim , which I later found out was due to a suspension pocket being worn.

I replaced a few suspension parts and my trucks back to spec. Ran a few hundred dollars but it was a few hours labor to replace parts and put everything on the rack.
