I have a 1996 turbo h1 hummer that had a 02 engine put in after the #8 cylinder issue. I just bought this and had the oil changed. I got back from dealership and it read way overfull. so i drained it all out, emptied the oil filter and started to put new oil back in. I know it takes 8 quarts with a filter change. After putting in only 4 quarts the dipstick reads full. so i put in the other 4 quarts knowing it takes 8 and it reads way overfull. I have the correct dipstick, tube, and oil pan on the vehicle..any help would be great before i am forced to remove the pan and see whats going on. one idea i thought maybe the cooler lines where not getting oil in them..thanks Bob
