Default H-3 trans pan leak

I just did a fluid and filter change a couple months ago. Just noticed a small drip last night. Everything is tight but not too tight and none on the gasket is pooched out. I used a thin layer of red RTV on both sides of the cork gasket just to keep everything in place. Seems to be dripping off one bolt. "front passenger side" (very small) Any chance that bolt goes through and gets fluid on the other side and its leaking down the threads? Just a thought before I drop the pan again.
Thanks

I'm not a fan of cork, however you did good by coating the cork with rtv.. I use composite gaskets and a spray sealant. With cork gaskets you should check/re-torque the bolts again, the fluid is leaking between the trans/gasket/pan and leaking down the threads of the bolt. GL

What Hummerz said X2.

You could try (it may work) taking out the bolt where the drip is, coat it with RTV, and put it back in quickly. Unless of course when you loosen the bolt it is like the finger in the dike thing???

Talking We will see!

You know I said cork gasket, I just used a GM filter and pan kit. It did have the cork look as I remember. It wasn't rubber or paper!

Anyway, I did an oil change last night and took a good look at that pan, sprayed it off and cleaned it up and stared removing one bolt at a time across the from of the pan where it was wet. when I loosened the 3rd bolt (center one) she started dripping. I took that one out and put some Teflon tape on it and tightened it back up. Seamed to stop right away but I will know more when I look again tonight. When the wifey gets home in it.
What are they supposed to be torqued too BTW.
Thanks for your help,

PS. She absolutely loves that darn thing. Looks like I may have to keep it!
